My Two Worlds Collide
Don't you love when two of your favorite, yet very distinct interests collide? My two worlds of interest that I take great gratification in is comics (of course) and the NBA. More specifically, for the last couple of years, the Boston Celtics.
So when I saw the following press conference I had to laugh and thought I'd share.
KG doing the Superman theme...and he does a pretty good job up until the very end. Paul Pierce looks very uneasy being called Superman. I don't know if that's modesty shining through or a fear of being a geek.
But is KG a closet geek? He knows Clark Kent, Batman, Robin....wow.
The NBA has had many "superheroes" in the past. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were called Batman and Robin. Shaq was Steel. Dwayne Wade is called The Flash. Superman has been on everyone from Shaq (tattoo) to Dwight Howard to Paul Pierce. Is there anyone I'm missing?
